A Commitment to Workplace Safety

NSMotif takes its manufacturing and production responsibilities very seriously. Our employees are the biggest asset to our team and their daily safety within our facilities and on job sites is of utmost importance. As one of only two Natural Stone Institute Accredited businesses in the state of Florida, our company has undergone vigorous standards testing to ensure best practices in safe and proper fabrication and installation methods.

Our facility participates in voluntary annual Occupation Safety and Health Administration inspections for air quality and noise exposure testing. For any onsite cutting we operate HEPA vacuums and/or wet techniques to meet allowable time and PEL limits as regulated by OSHA.  Many of our employees have also received their OSHA-10 and OSHA-30 Construction Training Certifications. This program provides an introduction to and comprehensive understanding of OSHA compliance best practices for identifying, reducing, eliminating and reporting workplace hazards.

NSMotif is proud to hold the only Sunshine Safety Award given to a fabricator in Florida in recognition of our exceptional attention and adherence to health & safety practices amongst our team. Our owner, Karen Roe, has also been invited to speak on a number of panels and participate in industry safety summits.

As a leading Orlando-area countertop fabricator, we invest in and utilize state-of-the-art machinery. These technologies allow us to provide the most accurate and beautiful finished products. Even more importantly, their advanced safety and wet-cutting features help minimize employee risk. Additionally, our daily cleaning routine reduces exposure to harmful residues and our employees receive chest x-rays and are fit tested annually for masks.
